Job Summary
The Business Support Analyst will be primarily responsible for overseeing operations as it relates to vendor relations, specifically ensuring that relevant data offers are procured, organized and communicated in an accurate and timely manner, along with procuring the relevant analytics to support the overall health and growth of the business. The Business Support Analyst will directly contribute to the success and growth of independent retailers in the cannabis industry.
Specific Responsibilities
Ensure vendors submit their offers in a complete and timely manner, filling in the gaps as required.
Maintain CRM and other relevant files, including legal documents.
Organize and communicate relevant documentation in a coherent, user-friendly and intuitive manner.
Ensure monthly results are pulled accurately and validated in a timely manner.
Review data sets, identify outliers and potential errors and address them accordingly.
Issue monthly summary statements to vendors with corresponding recaps, comparisons and analysis.
Key account management and follow up.
Identify and communicate opportunities for operational improvements.
Monitor and forecast marketing and sales trends, leveraging best-practices.
Support the build of IRCC’s analytics platform, SOPs, and general best practices by providing direct feedback and ideas for improvement.
Create relevant presentations and analytics reports as required.
Follow up on outstanding invoices and coordinate with accounting as required.
Support retailer engagement as required including follow up and problem-solving.
Flexibility to assist with other tasks as required.
Required Skills and Experience
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office and BI.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Highly detailed and process oriented.
Comfortability and familiarity using digital and web-based tools.

Job Skills & Qualifications
2-5 years of relevant experience with Excel, Microsoft Office and BI dashboards.
IT-oriented and systems-savvy.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
Excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills.
Experience in cannabis and knowledge of the cannabis industry is an asset.
